The last few years have been busy for Dylan Sprouse. Though he and his brother, Cole, had largely left acting behind when they moved from Los Angeles to New York to attend school at New York University, in a new interview with the Daily News, Dylan says he hasn’t ruled out returning to the screen.
Don’t get too excited just yet: Though the news is exciting, he has other things on his plate right now, so this is one big hypothetical. Since graduating from college, Dylan has been busy working on opening a meadery. Though it would be safe to assume his business ventures will be taking up most of his time for a while, he says he still has an agent, and is working on projects like the movie Dismissed, which premieres this year.
“I’m interested in roles that are human, that have some sort of empathic quality,” he said. “A role I would not do: cool jock… That’s not something I’d be interested in doing. Scripts that make characters a two-sentence description, I’m not interested in.”
Previously, he had said that he was “writing a few scripts” and we can only hope that he’s creating the very kinds of roles that he would be interested in portraying. As his brother Cole is gearing up to take on Jughead in Riverdale the future is also looking bright for Dylan. These two are still living the sweet life.
